Mr. Suman Sripathi, P.E, is one of E.M. Tech’s Vice Presidents. He has over 18 years of experience providing structural, forensic, geotechnical engineering, and QA/QC inspections and materials testing services, including Special Inspections and IBC/IRC Inspections, for complex and unconventional projects that include the construction and rehabilitation of major facilities and structures, pavements for highways and airports, bridges, and multi-story condominium buildings.

For the past 12 years, Mr. Sripathi has been supervising or managing Special Inspections (SI) and Quality Assurance (QA) programs for construction and rehabilitation projects at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles Internation Aiport (IAD), and Manassas Regional Airport (HEF). Some notable airport projects include: New North Concourse (DCA), Secure National Hall (DCA), East & West Baggage Basements (IAD), East Baggage Basement (IAD), Police Range & Training Facility (IAD), Airbus 380A Gate Modifications (IAD), IAB Expansion (IAD), Terminal A Outbound Baggage Facility (DCA), and Runways, Taxiways and Taxilanes at IAD, DCA, and HEF. Mr. Sripathi also provides management and supervision for Quality Control (QC) programs for significant Design-Build highway projects. Some of the notable highway projects include: Balls Ford Road Widening, Prince William Parkway and Route 1 widening.

In addition to supervising and managing airport and highway QA/QC programs, Mr. Sripathi also provides technical assistance during the analysis and design of building foundations, roadway pavements, and concrete structures. He also manages forensic engineering investigations, testing of structural fill soils and engineered soil structures, stabilized subgrades (lime, cement), Portland cement concrete, precast concrete, post-tensioned concrete, asphalt concrete, reinforcing steel, masonry, fireproofing, and structural steel.

Mr. Sripathi’s work experience includes working as a Transportation Planner, which involved designing roadway pavements, traffic signal design, impact studies, safety studies, roadway capacity analysis, parking requirements, etc. His expertise includes MOT, signage, signal design, pavement marking, and concept plans, in addition to preparing project reports and graphics.
